Disputes are an inevitable part of life; only the method of settlement varies. This is a fact that Aleksi is familiar with, having gained experience with in both training to be a peacekeeper and later studying to settle disputes with arbitration. The invaluable first-hand advice given by Professor Kaj Hober, chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, during his studies at the Uppsala University has given unique insight into the settlement of legal matters, through the courts or by other means.
Aleksi is well acquainted with international law not only because of his studies, but in addition his participation in the All-European International Humanitarian and Refugee Law Moot Court. After which he collected both the individual award for Best Speaker of the Finale and collectively with his team overall victory in the competition.
He is acutely aware of the legal changes and challenges in the constantly evolving technological and legal landscape. For his Bachelor thesis, Aleksi wrote about the future liability issues of self-driving cars, and all the legal challenges they bring. The key to modern legal work is the ability to keep up, and understand the trends and developments of technology.
